Every now and then I am presented with a difficult, well... quite ugly, domestic case...

 

To restore or conserve? Revive or strip back? A little bit of filler or...? In this instance the choice was as plain as the implement that did the damage.

 

The door panels and top were replaced with old, salvaged cedar.

 

...sigh...
