Bent on Bentwood

The old bentwood chair has been around for about 150 years. First mass produced by Michael Thonet in Vienna, the bentwood chair has been copied countless times and is still reproduced today. Cheap, versatile and pretty, they have been in service at cafes, restaurants and living rooms for yonks.

I have lost count of the times I've repaired them.
This one goes down in Tricks of the Trade as the 'best' home repair job using... wire.
