An excellent cedar extension dining table, C1870, on turned blackwood legs with 2 leaves.
Well maintained and in original condition, with a lovely nutty brown colour and patina.

This table was originally part of Roberton House near Bowral, NSW, which was the home of Richard Hutchinson Roberts, a Member of the Legislative Assembly for 25 years.
The table can be extended to seat at least 12 people (only one leaf shown in photo), and is a very good example of a substantial Australian piece from the second half of the 19th century, complete with original castors and finish.

Dimensions: 1400mm wide x 770mm high x 1400mm long closed, 2720mm long with both leaves

Price: SOLD
