English mahogany gateleg table from Circa 1780.
Pad feet, faded original finish.
It's very simple, and in fairly good nick considering it was made about the time Phillip moved the fleet into Sydney Cove. The timber is unbelieveably hard, even for mahogany, with extremely tight grain. The top is faded to a warm honey and the finish is wax only. I love it.
Dimensions: 1000mm wide (open) 300mm (closed) x 700mm high
Price: $1995.
