Delightful peasant painted Russian 4 door cupboard, mid 19th century. 

Each of the 8 raised door panels are charmingly hand painted with different scenes of flowers and chickens.

This beautiful peice was imported from Siberia and shows the loving and proud domestic relationship between the artist and his/her everyday useable furniture. 

The painted finish has the unique faded patina of age.
