Original early 1800's French Empire Chest in mahogany and brass, featuring a marble top, turned pillasters mounted with brass and choicely figued mahogany drawer fronts. Circa 1815, this chest is a grand and monumental peice which would form the focal point for a large dining room or entranceway.

The brass mounts to the turned columns are of a very high quality and really set the chest off.
