Early1800s mahogany cabinet with fold-over top and fitted drawers for housing botanical specimens.
The drawers have sliding escutcheon locks to prevent them from tilting open which suggest the cabinet was a purpose built maritime piece.
The whole piece is veneered in fine cuban mahogany over other mahogany and oak.

Dimensions: 710 mm wide x 610mm deep x 1000mm high
