19th Century Australian Cribbage Board

A fine original late19th century cribbage board in triangular form showcasing mainland and Tasmanian timbers  including huon pine, casuarina, silky oak, musk, and sassafras.
He underside has a sliding latch for the cribbage pins.
Condition is excellent and retains the original finish.

Size: 410mm equilateral triangle x 40mm thick

Large Mahogany Centre Table

A very fine mid 18th Century mahogany table with a superbly turned and carved pedestal base. The top features incredibly dense figured timber of the highest grade. The underside is also polished; a sure sign of quality.
Condition is revived original with a fresh fad of polish to enhance the lovely grain.

A mellow English chest of drawers Circa 1800 with crossbanding to the top, sides and drawers dividers, cockbeaded drawers on splayed bracket feet. Brass handles and escutcheons.
Faded mahogany waxed finish.

Regency Secretaire Bookcase

Contact The AppleyardA fine quality English Regency secretaire bookcase in mahogany Circa 1825.
The glazed top fitted with adjustable shelves and later drawer compartments, the secretaire base with fitted interior over glazed doors with brass trellis backing, all over a shaped bracket base.
Overall in excellent condition, this elegant piece has been revived and waxed, and is ready for the discerning collector.

Australian Cedar and Blackwood Sideboard C1835

Regency period piece of Australian furniture history in revived original condition. 
Two drawers, both with pine stringing to the edges and surrounded in applied blackwood cross banded moulding, over two cedar framed doors with blackwood cross banded inserts. Carved and turned cedar capitals. Turned blackwood feet. 
The sides and top are Australian cedar, as is the back.

Australian Art Deco Coffee Table

An original Australian made Art Deco coffee table veneered in walnut. The lovely curve of the legs and the simple repetition of the circular top and base  make this an exceptional example.
The use of vigorous cross banding to the legs provides a clue to the skill of the cabinet maker, now under research.
Revived original finish.

Large late 19th century Australian diner with plenty of character which can seat up to 12 people. Top is 2 boards only,waxed finish. In very sturdy and useable condition and the timber alone would cost more than this- if you could find these wide boards!
